Fave (faveforfans.com), the leading superfan platform, is thrilled to announce an exclusive partnership with Marvel’s own Spider-Man/Miles Morales actor Shameik Moore, offering fans an unparalleled Oscars viewing experience this Sunday, March 10. This collaboration officially marks the official launch of Fave's new Spider-Man and comics fandoms within the app, providing enthusiasts with unique opportunities to engage with their favorite superhero universe.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is nominated for Best Animated Feature at this weekend’s 96th Academy Awards ceremony. The wildly successful sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) was produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation in association with Marvel Entertainment, and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing.

“I can’t wait to feel the energy with all my people through Fave this Sunday,” Moore said in a video message to his fans. “It’s the Oscars, baby. Let’s experience this together.”

Spidey fans participating in the Oscars celebration inside Fave’s app will be in the running to win a one-on-one video call with Moore himself. Fans who design their own at-home parties with friends and family can share photos and videos on Fave and earn points towards the rewards.

"It's exciting for Fave to expand into comics, TV shows, and movies. I’m seeing in real time how these additional verticals unlock so many other doors of fandom that we don’t see in music,” said Fave CEO and Founder Jacquelle Horton, who recently attended Megacon Orlando with Moore to engage directly with his fans and onboard the first Spider-Man fans onto the platform. “Fans love and adore Miles Morales. I’ve felt it myself at Megacon. Watching fans get to connect directly with the Spider-Man who’s just like them and see evidence that he is just like them was amazing     .”

Members of the Spider-Verse community will also be able to participate in exclusive experiences at future in-person Comic Con events.

To participate in the Oscars watch party and unlock exclusive rewards, Fave (faveforfans.com) users can download the app from the App Store or Google Play and join the Spider-Verse fandom.

It’s pioneered a fan-centered approach that lets communities decide for themselves how to engage, celebrate, and create. Now, it’s making room for new fandoms and expanding beyond music for its biggest year ever. MORE» More»

Poised for its biggest year ever, the platform is expanding to welcome fans of all kinds, whether they are into the NFL or the Spider-Verse.

Fave, the fan-driven platform (faveforfans.com), has become an online home for Harries, The BTS Army, Swifties, Hooligans, and other music-loving communities. It’s pioneered a fan-centered approach that lets communities decide for themselves how to engage, celebrate, and create. Now, it’s making room for new fandoms and expanding beyond music for its biggest year ever.

“Every fandom is unique. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to optimizing any community,” says founder and CEO Jacquelle Amankonah Horton. “We started with music because that’s where our personal fandom was born, but the sophistication, depth, and vast amount of fan activity I see in other areas of fandom - movies, sports, fashion, restaurants, comedy, streamers, and more - shows that we’re ripe and needed for fan empowerment everywhere.”

In 2024, Fave will launch several projects designed to offer new, thrilling experiences to fans of certain strands of the Marvel universe, pro football, and more. For example, Fave kicked off the Spiderman fandom at MegaCon 2024 collaborating with talented actor and musician Shameik Moore, the voice behind Spider-Man in Marvel Entertainment’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and the Oscar-nominated sequel Across the Spider-Verse to celebrate  fans and learn about what kinds of new experiences they want to do across the Spider-Verse world.

Some of these new experiences will include more in-person events, much like those Fave has facilitated for music fandoms. Fave helped fans throw a major party for Harry Styles’ birthday during GRAMMY week and a sold-out event at the famous Chinese Theatre for BTS fans. The company is now planning with fans to create unique events with their eye on upcoming milestones for some of their biggest fandoms, along with D23, ComicCons, football games, and future movie premieres. To make things even more fun, Fave is curating special party kits for fandoms to easily hold their own fan events at will around the globe.

Adam Harter, formerly the Senior Vice President of Media, Sports & Entertainment at Pepsi and advisor to Fave notes: “I am continually amazed by what a powerful force fan passion is and it has been exciting to watch Fave find new, creative ways to unleash that energy first in the music industry and now in the worlds of entertainment and sports. When I think about what sports teams and brands can achieve by leaning into their biggest superfans through Fave, the possibilities are truly endless.”

Why Fave has become a trusted partner for fans is simple: it’s designed to do more than a traditional fanclub. Fave rewards fans who participate passionately in community activities. These verified fans can gain access to significant perks and exclusive events. “When the community can effectively talk to each other and plan things together with their own energy, creators don’t have to always be on, always with the spotlight on them, always cranking out content,” Horton notes. “Instead, fans find inspiration and togetherness on their own terms. We’re giving the tools to shape an amazing time together.”

Harry Styles' most loyal fans—known affectionately as Harries—have been invited to celebrate the artist’s birthday in Los Angeles together. The celebration inspired by the Harries’ House theme is being thrown by Fave, the platform for superfans, by superfans.

Fans will be able to gather on February 3 at the Matrix Studios (1260 W. 2nd Street) in LA from 2-8:30pm to celebrate Harry Styles’ 30th birthday in a community setting with fellow fans. Fave is known for providing a platform where fans can come together, celebrate their favorite artists and fan creativity, and discover exclusive content. In fact, some fans booked tickets to LA just receiving a notification teasing the event. With an extremely active Harries fandom to pull from, Fave brings its expertise in creating unique fan experiences to elevate the celebration.

"At Fave, we believe in the idea that fans know what they want out of a fandom, and that it’s simply our responsibility to help facilitate that for them. This birthday party, which was thought up and created by Harries fans we work with to conceptualize, is a testament to the passion and creativity of Harry's dedicated fanbase. We're excited to contribute to an unforgettable night that brings fans closer together for his big 3-0,” said Jacquelle Horton, Founder and CEO of Fave. “We’ve found in past live events that many of the bonds formed through Fave are beautifully strengthened when fans meet one another live and create a shared experience that they can then reminisce about together for years to come.”

Fans can revel in all things Harry at the event by participating in a smorgasbord of activities themed after the superstar. After decorating and customizing diverse iconic merch, attendees can hop over to the karaoke station to perform their favorite Harry tunes for other guests in attendance. Guests will get the opportunity to share their own personal experiences being Harry fans by speaking to Fave and writing personal letters with reasons why they love Harry and covering various themes inspired by his music. What’s more, fans can participate in giveaways with the opportunity to win items like a Ticketmaster gift card, copies of Harry’s albums on vinyl, a Harry-themed gift box, and more. And, of course, there will be no shortage of photo ops as fans can get their polaroids taken posing next to a Harry cutout and take pictures in a Harry-themed bedroom.

While Harry Styles himself is not expected to turn up, Horton says that’s not the point of the event, or of Fave as a whole. “We try to create spaces where fans can be themselves and run their fandoms as they see fit. This party, which happens to coincide with Grammy Week all across town, is for the fans to have a good time,” Horton said. “But if Harry wanted to stop by for a couple minutes, I’m sure his fans would be fine with that.”

Fave, the platform for superfans, will now allow artists and their teams to discover and communicate with fans directly and intuitively thanks to their new industry-facing tool called FanFinder™. Supported by proprietary AI, FanFinder™ gathers key insights from Fave’s wealth of knowledge about fan’s activities to help artists pinpoint and recognize their most ardent superfans—finally seeing who they are, where they are, and what they love to do as fans. Artists can now gain powerful intel into who exactly has been listening nonstop, making fan art, going to every show on the tour, creating their own merch, organizing support for their new release, and has influence on other fans, among dozens of other specific and authentic fan activities in order to understand, reach, and recognize those fans.

FanFinder™  makes it easy to identify truly dedicated fans in specific markets or with specific interests, right on the platform fans already use and love. Fave, fulfilling its promise to always put fans first, is launching FanFinder™ to put dedicated fans on the radar of their favorite artist, lets them feel the love, and unlocks cool offers and perks. The direct connection means the artist team isn’t at the mercy of  algorithmically-driven social feeds that reach only 2% of followers when the artist is trying to reach their dedicated fans. Fave knows exactly who the most passionate and valuable fans are, what motivates them, and then offers a direct line of contact to them.

“We made Fave a place for fans where they can be fully empowered, find each other, and immerse in their passions,” notes Fave founder and CEO Jacquelle Amankonah Horton. “Now, we’re bringing creators into the mix, so that they can finally have a much more  clear picture about who their fans actually are through real-time insights they’ve never been able to see at this level of detail and authenticity. They can easily find deserving fans they want to engage for cool experiences and opportunities they have that will now multiply the power of their efforts in seconds.”

“We know very well how to effectively bring the power and ease of AI across billions of audience data points,” adds Horton, citing her history at Google leading several beloved AI analytics products for YouTube Creators and Artists since 2014.

FanFinder™ solves a fundamental pain point for artist teams, who rarely have such deep insights into exactly where their fans are and what they are doing.  Fave gathers fan information and lets artists search by certain parameters. Artists can use AI and natural language to find the answer to helpful questions, such as “Who are my most active fans in San Diego from the past three months and what are they doing?” Once an artist has used FanFinder to uncover a key group of fans, she or her team can message them with anything from a ticket offer, to a VIP meetup, to a chance to weigh in on new or unreleased music, to participation in creating the next lyric video. This communication stays within Fave, and fans can opt out if they would prefer not getting these opportunities, protecting fan privacy and serving their interests first, a core Fave value.

FanFinder™ is just the latest step toward Fave’s vision of creating a fun, mutually beneficial space for fans to gather and show their fandom with pride and for creators to find and empower those devoted to their work. Through a growing, comprehensive set of features and tools, Fave is tuning into superfandom and rewarding fan passion simultaneously.

Fave is already onboarding key artist teams that represent some of the largest acts in the world, and the industry has shown overwhelming support to Fave, as it provides a tool that saves hours or often weeks of manual work teams do scrubbing social feeds and old databases with unhelpful anonymous user IDs, mismatched data, if any. The frustration that haunts this laborious  process to try to find a fan only has long made fan engagement efforts seem more trouble than they’re worth. Now, artist teams can execute their plans and answer questions about their fans in seconds—far more accurately than ever before.

“FanFinder™ makes Fave’s model applicable far beyond the music industry,” explains Horton. “In fact, we’ve built something relevant to any brand or business that wants to scale their effectiveness in impacting the top 20% of customers. That’s exactly the wide-reaching path Fave plans to chart ahead across multiple vertical market sectors.”

Fave, the platform for superfans, has secured another $2 million in an ongoing round, which is expected to surpass a total of $6 million. Several major institutional investors have reaffirmed their commitment to Fave’s vision and business and are increasing their investment in the startup, including Warner Music, Sony Music, and Female Founders Fund. This raise follows Fave’s history-making $2.2 million seed round, the most funding ever raised by a Black female in entertainment and media.

New investors to Fave include top leaders in tech, consumer internet, and music, such as music industry veteran Lyor Cohen, Shiva Rajaraman (CBO of OpenSea, former VP of Commerce at Meta and VP at Spotify), Alexandra Moore (CBO at EMPIRE, former GM at Amazon), Gen-Z expert and gaming investor Faye Maidment as part of the Atomico Angel Program, and Switzerland-based investors Alberto Cozzi and Mario Andrea Cozzi.  Several funds also joined this round, including Xoogler.co (a selective fund investing in former Google employee startups), Goodwater, and Gaingels.

"Fave is clearly on its way. Excited about Jacquelle's leadership and I can't think of a better person to take on this mission,” Rajaraman said regarding his involvement in the round. “She's crafted a clear plan with high impact that puts fans first while making it easy for creators to engage. It's my honor to join this round and support the team."

Supporting the superfan economy, estimated by Goldman Sachs to have the potential to reach more than $4 billion in coming years, Fave has become a home for avid music lovers, from Swifties to Harries, who need a place to gather, share their excitement, and create new bonds. Fave allows fans to earn status documenting their fan activities that show off their commitment as fans. Fave also includes a reputation-based marketplace where fans can buy and sell everything from tickets to handcrafted merch from trusted verified fans.

The company struck groundbreaking deals with major music companies thanks to its AI-powered fan intelligence and its laser focus on empowering superfans. It will soon be launching its suite of products for artist teams to find and reach superfans using this unique intelligence. Fave will deploy the capital from this current round to deepen the power of these tools, to expand them into other entertainment markets, and to create more meaningful ways for fans to come together on- and offline, like never before.

“We’ve spent years advocating for superfans. The entertainment business has started to understand just how crucial they are to artists’ longevity, and they are turning to us as the experts,” explains Fave founder and CEO, Jacquelle Amankonah Horton. “We’ve thankfully built strong trust with fans, and our products are seen as win-win, finally allowing the industry to efficiently see who an artist’s biggest supporters are, what activities they are engaging in across the fan experience, and at what intensity level - even the things fans do that no one else captures like having a tattoo about the artist or memorizing all of their lyrics - which are far better signs of fandom than the blackbox of streaming data alone.“

“The strength of our relationships across the music industry has allowed us to turn our supporters into our customers, and we’re excited to move into creator communities beyond music that can just as powerfully benefit from recognizing and better understanding their most passionate fans.”
